When You Call My Name (WYCMN) is a collaborative art project that remembers the Japanese civilian internees who were detained in Australia and New Zealand during the Second World War, bringing their individual stories into the present through art, voice and remembrance.
As part of the TEIJU – What is Settlement? program at Murdoch University, WYCMN will hold a special event on Saturday 29 August 2026 at Murdoch University.
The event brings together artists, researchers and community members through personal stories, sound, ritual, the calling of names and discussion.
