Preparations are well underway for TEIJU – What is Settlement?, opening soon at Murdoch University Art Gallery in Perth.
The exhibition is now taking shape, with Mayu Kanamori’s photographic works being installed throughout the gallery.
Through photographs and personal stories, TEIJU – What is Settlement? explores the meaning of “settlement” through the experiences of Japanese people who have made Australia their home, reflecting on migration, belonging, identity and memory.
We are very pleased to see the exhibition coming together and look forward to welcoming visitors from next week.
